Unforgettable experience

We went for our wedding anniversary and had an amazing experience. Beautiful view from our bedroom with complimentary wine and snacks. Staff were superb to accommodate our requests. The restaurant dinner was delicious.

Excellent cabin with an amazing, romantic gas fireplace. The entire facility is beautiful and the ample welcome gift was truly a surprise. Though this property is a bit pricey, a one night stay there was well worth it for our overnight stay in Cradle Mt National Park. Wish I had time to use the spa after a long day of hiking. Highly recommend this property.

Overall good property, nice and fresh cabins. I personally didn’t enjoy the mattress and didn’t sleep the first night at all, but I’m fussy. Otherwise, the hotel is quite good, considering the remote location in the national park. The spa complex and services are good. The territory is beautiful, lots of nice walks, wildlife everywhere - that is certainly a great part to the overall experience.

Just beautiful!! Great accommodation with easy access to Cradle Mountain Nat. Park. Plenty of wildlife to see and great tours. Especially gorgeous in winter after a snow fall!

It was very dated and did not offer room service. The bistro was quite expensive as it was the only place to eat. Complimentary water and some snacks were offered which was good. The room seemed very old and needs to be updated.

The rooms are a bit dated, as are the buildings but best place to stay to visit Cradle Mountain with kids. Loved it all! We saw platypus and wombats right outside our room. The restaurant was fabulous and all the staff were very helpful.

Poor check in and terrible beds!

We stayed at the hotel for 3 nights. We had a poor check in experience upon arrival. They charged our credit card but also charged our card we booked the room with by accident. They then went to refund our card for the mistaken transaction but ended up charging us again - resulting in three seperate charges for the one room which were over $1000+, then multiple refunds which did not come through to our card immediately which put us out of pocket. The cabins are also in need of an upgrade. After hours of hiking, the beds were so uncomfortable and we could feel the springs and did not get a good restful sleep - we couldn’t wait to leave. For the price, we will be staying down the road next time.

Loved the room, very cosy with the gas fire. Great view. Pub meals and service were excellent. Breakfast was disappointing for an Accor establishment and not good value for money.

Great location, food disappointing

The cabins were lovely and warm, with good facilities. The food was a bit disappointing. We ate in the Tavern one night and the Highlander restaurant the next. The Tavern did generic pub-food, with a very limited choice for vegetarians/vegans. The Highlander dinner was over-priced for what we got (we had the two-course menu). One of the sides was very over-salted, and the petit-fours and palate cleanser were not as described. The breakfast choices were mostly good (the porridge was excellent!), but the pastries on the first day were raw and inedible, and we had to ask the staff to replenish a number of the items. The staff were very friendly and apologetic about the issues, so no complaints there.

I was actually very disappointed with our stay at peppers. It was by far the most I had spent on accommodation for the whole of our trip to Tasmania and therefore expected it to be as described in the photos. Instead I feel like I good a old slab hut with branches and leaves everywhere. It was nice on the inside and nice bathroom but certainly was not worth the dollars
