About the home

“Island Oasis” is a delightful, two-storey townhouse in a gated complex in central Cowes, a short stroll from the many supermarkets, cafes, and restaurants of Cowes. Some of the many features of this lovely home are detailed below:

Indoor Areas

Downstairs is the open plan Kitchen/Dining/Living area (with TV & DVD player), leading to the rear courtyard. The main bedroom has its own en-suite (with shower and toilet) and there is a fully equipped Laundry (washing machine & clothes dryer), plus an additional Toilet.

Upstairs a further two bedrooms are found, as is the main bathroom (with freestanding bath, shower, and double vanity), a separate toilet and an additional living area (with TV & DVD player).

Outdoor Areas

Outdoor living is catered for as well, with a completely enclosed, north-facing courtyard (with outdoor setting for 6). This home is one of three townhouses that share a solar-heated pool, and an undercover BBQ area for hours of fun. There is ample parking with a remote-control double garage and additional street parking outside of the complex.

Kitchen

The fully appointed kitchen is equipped with cooking utensils, crockery, cutlery, microwave, toaster, kettle, etc. plus a double sink, fridge, dishwasher, and electric oven and cook top.

Heating/Cooling Systems

The home contains reverse cycle split system units in both living areas, as well as a gas log fire in the main living area and another in Bedroom 1.

Bedding Configuration

This home has 4 beds, accommodating up to 6 guests:

Linen

Disappointing stay

Our stay way a little disappointing, we arrived to a property where the rangehood was broken we couldn't cook inside. Remotes for tvs, ine was missing, the other did not work and with 2 young kids this was not ideal. Multiple emails raising concerns fell on deaf ears, no support provided.
Stayed 5 nights in Jan 2025
