Beautiful period house converted into bed and breakfast, 10 minutes walk from Coutances Centre. Well located town for visit g the Normandy region and D Day memorials

The house is a lovely French villa in a quiet part of the town, but not far from the center. We had a nicely decorated bedroom with a fireplace, a view over Coutances cathedral and a renovated windowed bathroom with a nice stall shower. We loved the garden and the breakfast was perfect. Coffee and tea were also available in the lobby anytime. The host made us feel at home.

Antoine is a very nice host and we had a wonderful stay. If you get the opportunity to get a dinner from him try it out. He will individually create a menu for you. Also the breakfast is fantastic and changes daily We will definitely come back

Disappointed but decent location

Stay was fine. Things that would give cause for not rebooking : no chair in the bedroom. No tv in the room. It was offered to bring one in but… it should be there. And it’s up to me if I use it. Wi-fi cover not well explained. Everyone nowadays expects decent internet in the bedroom. There was a tear in the duvet cover. The window could have done with a good swipe. Attention to details??? Perhaps not always on the items that matter to more mature visitors.

Si la grille d’entrée fait un peu penser à la maison hantée,cette maison est surtout habitée par son hôte Antoine très disponible et qui prépare un petit déjeuner magnifique, la maison a de grandes chambres à la décoration soignée une très bonne adresse.

Excellent séjour à la Villégiature. Antoine est très accueillant et fait le nécessaire pour que le séjour se passe le plus agréablement. La maison est au calme et assez proche du centre ville. Les chambres sont spacieuses, confortables et très bien aménagées et décorées. Beaucoup de charme. Jardin très vert et fleuri avec quelques poules en liberté. Le petit déjeuner est copieux et de qualité. Il y a même des places de stationnement pour la voiture ce qui évite de laisser la voiture dans la rue. Excellent souvenir.

Maison avec beaucoup de charme, hauteur de plafond, super petit déjeuner, accueil et ambiance chaleureux, grands communs ( salons, jardin). Poules en liberté ce qui ajoute au charme A noter : nécessité de prendre la voiture pour aller dans le centre.

Excellent séjour à La Villégiature, je recommande à 100%. La maison et son jardin sont très agréables et reposants, la chambre très confortable est un véritable cocon. Antoine est un hôte attentionné et sympathique. Le petit-déjeuner est excellent. J’y retourne dès que possible !
