The outside is not much to look at but we were surprised with the inside. Rooms were very clean, the staff were kind and the breakfast was good. We only stayed 1 night as we were passing thru on our trip. Would definitely stay here again if we go this way on another trip.

We had a very nice stay at Bridgepoint Inns. Our room was clean and quiet. The ladies at the service desk were friendly, helpful and real. We had a good time there and would choose to stay there again.

Staff was friendly but unprofessionally dressed. Overnight staff brought small children to work. Couldn’t handle small maintenance issues. Soda bottles crammed into vending machine to where I didn’t want to risk losing my money because of a jam. Great location for a short ride to downtown Omaha. Booked due to 8.8 review score but should have stayed across the freeway at Harrah’s.

The bed was comfortable, and my stay was fine, except for one thing. I had an issue with the shower the next morning. I kept getting cold water when I turned it on. I discussed it with the front desk attendant, and she agreed I would wait, because the hot water may be intensively used by the guests at that time. After breakfast, I checked it again, and it was still ice cold. I washed my hands after using the bathroom, and the water in the sink was hot though—scalding even. I tried the shower again and it was still ice cold. Realizing the problem, I turned the temperature valve to the opposite side, (completely cold,) and I got scalding-hot water; so the plumbing was just installed backwards is all. No label. No warning sign. The staff on duty were not even aware. Fortunately, I was in no rush, or it could have been a problem. Apparently, that was not the only plumbing issue, since they had to close the dining are early due to a clogged sink. TL;DR: decent place and staff, but poor plumbing.

Underwhelmed

Gave us keys/room that they had put someone else in. After trying 4 times to get keys that worked, realized someone else was in room. They had to figure out how that happened and to figure out which room was available. Took about 10 minutes of waiting- with two of us waiting in the hall with no chair. Unfortunate this all took place at midnight. No elevator. My handicapped dad was with us, so we had to just stay put. New room was ok, but the dispensers in shower were empty, so no shampoo. Not enough towels for the three of us, but wasn’t worth calling to get more at that point. Not sure how they got an 8.8 rating. Breakfast was ok, but really picked over by the time we got there at 9:00am. I get they were probably busy, but supposed to be until 9:30. Cranberry juice was not right. Out of other food, but they were replacing some. Not the pastries/breads.
