Traveling along the road between Tuscany and Umbria, you’ll reach Pierle, a medieval village nestled in the hills between Cortona and Lake Trasimeno, with its castle overlooking the green valley below. Here, surrounded by olive groves and chestnut and oak woods, you’ll find the farmhouse.
Agriturismo Pierle Cuiano La Loggia is on the second floor, accessed by stone steps leading to a spacious covered terrace with breathtaking views of Pierle Castle—perfect for dining, reading, or relaxing outdoors. The large, bright living room features a sofa, armchairs, TV, stereo, and an antique stone fireplace from the late 19th century. Separated by an archway, the kitchen is fully equipped for a self-catering holiday, including a dishwasher. Upstairs are three bedrooms: one double with its own bathroom, another double and a twin room sharing a second bathroom. All bedrooms enjoy beautiful views. From the Loggia’s living room, you access a fourth double bedroom with private bathroom, and an internal staircase leads to the ground floor, where there’s another bathroom and the option to add a fifth bedroom. This layout offers five bedrooms, a living room, kitchen, and four bathrooms, with entrances on both sides of the house—ideal for a group of ten.
Heating is available for an additional fee.
A careful restoration has preserved the Tuscan style of rural stone houses, with chestnut beams and 19th-century fireplaces. The pool, with a wide Roman-style staircase, is in the center of the garden (6 m x 12 m; max depth 140 cm, open from May 10 to the end of September). The surrounding garden offers plenty of space to relax in nature.
