Room was clean and colorful. Loved the balcony to sit and read and enjoy the beautiful views. Food was only okay at the lodge. Appreciated the weigh room. Liked the proximity to tours, hikes and eating. Liked being inside the park.
We enjoyed the property. The restaurant was great and service outstanding. You can’t beat the view and the location is handy to hikes and tours. We had a small balcony, just right for two. The walls are a little thin but that’s the only negative.
Nice location for hiking. Hotel is out dated and under staffed. Restaurant had a beautiful view of Lake Powell. Food was OK and staff was pleasant but clearly needs more help.
Room was clean for an older tired property . Very comfortable bed. Easy parking. Breakfast at the terrace was poor little choice and looked very anaemic so just bought a muffin and coffee.
Small quarters! Very difficult to shower. Not sure if they offer options for the handicapped.

The room was a little cramped, and the soap was not working. The WiFi was spotty which was sad because it was the only WiFi/cell service in the area, besides the visitors center. Staff was helpful at check-in. The whole place was so quiet.
Only hotel on the national park grounds. Sits right on top of the mesa and all rooms have a large balcony with a gorgeous view! I was surprised that there was no tv in the room, but I guess they’re going for the rustic feel. Room was nice, clean, good gift shop in the lobby. Shower and toilet was kid size, which could be a problem for a larger person.

You can’t beat the view, and the front desk staff are friendly and helpful. This was good because our room was lacking expected items (such as soap in any form, shampoo and sufficient towels and washcloths for two people for a two night stay) so we made more than one trip to the front desk to secure these items. Dinner on site is well done, but breakfast, which is a half mile away, left much to be desired.
Older rooms with the wind howling through the door jams. Unique. Location is the draw. Dinner was so-so. It was the opening of the season so hopefully the food will improve.
It was a great price and location for staying in the National Park.

The view was very nice from my room. The property is dated and the toilet height is sized for children. There was no television in the room which I did not realize. We ate dinner at the restaurant and it was well prepared and tasty.
Great location! Neat and tidy room with a fantastic view! Easy parking. No housekeeping (we stayed four nights). Some room condition issues and coffee maker was broken. Lotion container was empty, but shampoo, conditioner, shower gel provided on wall.
Some of the food at the cafes and restaurant was excellent, some was only good. All of the food is overpriced for the quality received (it Is in a national park, after all, so not unexpected). The wifi and internet are spotty at best; I could only connect on the second day, and the internet speed was slow. There's no TV or microwave in the king bed room. There are very distant views, but appears pretty flat and featureless from this site. Next time I'll stay in Cortez and make the 90 minute trip to the archaeological sites.

We stayed a few days before Memorial Day weekend, and the end of their “off season.” Our room was fairly clean but the appliances (small fridge and coffee maker) did not work due to a bad outlet. Many of the sites were closed due to the off season and road repairs. The outside lights by the rooms were too bright for any sort of appreciation of their recognition as a Dark Sky Destination. Food in the Lodge was good but the bathrooms in the Lodge and Terrace needed some cleaning attention. Staff was friendly and helpful.
The room was very comfortable with a wonderful view. We would have liked there to be a microwave so we didn't have to go to the restaurant for a warm meal. Some of the dispensers didn't work for lotion and soap. A supplemental bar of soap and bottle of lotion would have been not. Staff was wonderful.
