We spend two nights at the Baymont in Cortez with three teens. Pool was great and breakfast buffet was very good. Room was as described and although the facility was aging, the staff was nice and it lived up to the expectations. Also, Cortez was a very cosy town and fairly walkable.

Hidden gem in Cortez, CO among other nearby hotels. Great staff, great amenities, amazing price for what you get! The breakfast is also nice. This hotel exceeded my expectations. If you can, upgrade your room to the suite with the jetted tub, king size bed and queen size bed. Really nice room for a family stay. Safe location, plenty of parking too. Highly recommended if you are visiting the Four Corners Monument or the Mesa Verde National Park

Breakfast was good, the included chili made it better than usual for this type of hotel. And for once the breakfast room was amply big enough, no scrambling for seats. The bedroom was a good size although the room amenities were very basic - no ceramic cups or glasses and not enough coffee or tea
