Guyers House is a lovely hotel set in beautiful grounds. Our room was small but adequate and comfortable. The staff were friendly and helpful. The restaurant is pleasant and food is nice with a reasonable choice. The breakfast was good.

I've stayed at the hotel multiple times and never had a problem until Wednesday 15th July. The building is obviously old so limited to what they can do, but second floors rooms in peak summer are like pizza ovens. The small ancient fan is not enough and I barely slept.

The hotel was ok. Grounds were lovely. Entrance ok, bedroom ok Breakfast experience was terrible. When we arrived for breakfast, 0830 there was no clean tables, limited supply pkt cereal. No juice, and hot plates empty and no plates. One poor girl having to serve tea/coffee, clean tables and replenish food. Booked for 2 nights only stayed one due to poor service

Delightful situation in picturesque house and gardens. Staff pleasant and friendly though I arrived at the same time as people arriving for a large function so reception staff stretched. The bed was comfy and the room small but pleasant. Could have benefited from a shelf in the bathroom. Dinner was excellent. £21.89 for two medium glasses of ordinary wine was a bit steep. Breakfast was ok, though the chafing dishes needed two heaters to keep the food hot. Overall I'd recommend this hotel.
