L'Appoggio is a charming and comfortable studio apartment located in Corsano, a small village in southern Salento less than 4 km from the sea. Also available in the winter months, equipped with heating and wifi internet connection.

The accommodation is part of a holiday home consisting of two apartments: one on the upper floor (the listing in question) and the other one (L'appoggio Inferiore, located on the basement level) available for additional sleeping arrangements.

The recent renovation (2023) transformed it into an eco-sustainable and super efficient accommodation thanks to the use of low energy impact photovoltaic panels and latest generation fixtures. The perfect refuge for a couple looking for tranquility and comfort but also for a holiday dedicated to energy saving and environmental sustainability.

The location of the accommodation will allow you to immerse yourself in the local culture and enjoy the beauty of the sea just a few km away (10 minutes by car).

THE LOCATION


The historic center of the town is 300 m from the house, where are also the main commercial activities and useful services.

The city of Corsano will add authenticity and tradition to your stay experience. Especially during the summer, the community, but also the neighboring towns, usually organize interesting events. A warm welcome to the Salento land which has always stood out for its hospitality!

THE HOUSE

The entrance takes place from a gate on the street which leads, via stairs, to the main house.

The internal environment, air-conditioned/heated, is approximately 40 m2 large, it's carefully organized and designed to maximize space and offer the necessary comfort.

The house is made up of:

- a welcoming sleeping area with a foldaway double bed,
- a fully equipped kitchenette with dining table, dishwasher and coffee maker;
- living area with a comfortable sofa bed (for a possible additional guest) where you can relax and watch TV;
- a complete bathroom with shower.
The presence of a very large window allows natural light to flood the space, creating a welcoming and airy atmosphere.

Outside the house has a laundry corner with washing machine, an outdoor shower (convenient when returning from the sea) and a comfortable garden equipped with a dining table where you can enjoy your outdoor dinners in complete privacy and relaxation.

Although the accommodation does not have a reserved parking space, it will be very easy to find free street parking.

The small village of Corsano is less than 4 km from the sea, from the spectacular Adriatic coast.

Its strategic position offers the opportunity to explore the enchanting beaches and coves that wind along the Adriatic coast, with the characteristic cliffs overlooking the sea, the lush landscapes and the sea caves.

The closest beach that we recommend is Marina di Novaglie (3.5 km): a small pearl immersed in uncontaminated nature, bordered by low, accessible rocks and a crystal clear sea.

In the bay of Marina di Novaglie, there are various activities to do: it is possible to rent kayaks, explore the seabed (snorkeling), organize boat trips to discover the enchanting caves along the coast, and much more.

Alternatively, we recommend a walk along the beautiful "Sentiero delle Cipolliane" (link) overlooking the sea which connects Marina di Novaglie to Ciolo, one of the most photographed inlets in Salento and which offers breathtaking views that can be admired from the bridge of the same name.

For lovers of trekking or nature walks, in the surrounding area there are also other nature trails such as the so-called "Tratturi" or "Vie del Sale" (link), ancient paths that were used for salt smuggling and which also connect point the country to the sea.

Other close beaches we suggest are Ponte del Ciolo (6 km), Marina di Guardiola (3.5), Marina Serra (6 km), Tricase Porto (7 km) and Santa Maria di Leuca (11 km) which allow easy access to the clear blue sea for a refreshing swim.
