Very disappointing! It did not live up to the advertised expectation online! The only thing held true was the proximity to the beach! The rate should definitely be lowered due to the standards that I witnessed and was subjected to! The only reason I stayed was simply due to the fact I had already paid my money!!

The Seashell Village was an absolute clean and friendly place. From the staff to spending the night in the room it was definitely a great family place. They had all the essentials you need including kitchen appliances. Thank you for a great stay!!!

The cottage was nice the only downside was they told us at check-in that when we checked out we needed to take out our own trash. When we got into the cottage we found that all of the trash had not been emptied. It may be a good idea for you to spray for pests as we found a roach in the bathroom. Thanks

Booked a last minute trip to Port A. The location was the best thing we liked about this place. It is an older property and very outdated. The mini fridge and microwave were dirty. There was a coffee maker but no cups or sugar/creamer to use, so kinda pointless. There was a leftover have used Gatorade in cabinet. The shower curtain smelled like mildew. We were told we would get our cleaning fee returned but that never happened. Disappointed but it had good reviews but we did not have the same experience.

Very Disappointed

We made a last minute reservation to go for the weekend. Booked the room for the price listed. Gave them a call to find out their office hours due to a late arrival (9:15) she informed they closed the office at 11. Received a call at 7:45 saying they were closing early and that I need to provide my DL and a credit card via email. I was unable to get access to my cc so I emailed my DL and she told me to come by in the morning and provide my CC for "incidentals". Upon arrival, the room was in disorder. There was no TV in the entertainment center in the living room and the TV in the bedroom did not work, there was no toilet paper or paper towels. Not exactly sure why they needed a CC for incidentals because none were available or provided. When I went to the office the next morning she also charged me a pet fee for which I was not aware. The listing said it was a pet friendly hotel but never mentioned a pet fee. Very disappointed in the place, we have stayed there before and had a great expirence. The employees were partaking in some illegal activities while working on "cleaning" the rooms also. Not sure if we'll return

Walking distance to the beach. We were on the top floor which gets the best sunsets and had two balconies. But we had to move to this space, (at no extra cost) because the original suite we were offered was unclean and the smell was terrible. There was mould on the closet wall in the bedroom and that added to the smell. Dust on the ceiling and wall in that area, so no deep clean for a long time. Windows were dirty, fridge was dirty. Had to ask for toilet paper and only one fork in the cutlery drawer. Cigarette butts, garbage and a bunch of hair on the balcony. So a bunch of things that put together made us feel like leaving. Fortunately we were able to change rooms to something much cleaner, more equipped. Its an older resort and it shows.
