I used to love this place. Unfortunately, it’s best days are way behind them. The room was dirty. They never emptied our trash. We didn’t have enough towels and we didn’t have linens for the fold up bed. The manager was wonderfully nice, but after many years, we will never stay at the Plantation again. There are just better options.

I was very impressed of how good the hotel was. Usually, for twice the money even in a cheap location it is unrelistic to expect the same things this hotel was offering to its guests. The room was bigger than a typical Hyatt Place room. There was plenty of space for our travel cribs. Yes, this hotel officially allowes 3children+2adults in the same room, that is so rare! Everything inside was in order, the beds were clean and felt new, plenty of light features inside even on the ceiling, the A/C was SUPER QUIET even at night, the hot water was hot without waiting. The Internet was trouble free and fast! The hot breakfast was REALLY TASTY (deliciously cooked) and good (good choice of items) and the staff was taking good care of it, the dining room and the guests. There was also a pool, hot pool, grills and many other things available for the guests. Fridge and 1000W of microwave power in the room. All these alone tunes into a good mood.

I seldom write reviews but this place stands out. The effortless, quick, and friendly checkin/checkout was top notch. The small details on the breakfast bar like chocolate chips for waffles showed the hotel is proud of what they do. The facilities are clean and no bells and whistles.

Yes and the general manager, I think her name is Anna….was so sweet and helpful for me today since I lost my phone and totaled my car on vacation. The guy that worked the night before 11/7/2025, was super awesome as well after my wreck.

There were some small issues (some breakfast items not stocked, paint fumes, housekeeping banging on our door well before checkout time, etc.) but the real problem is that the wifi does NOT work. We were told it was spotty on arrival, but for three days, nothing. Something at this property has changed, because we stay here regularly and when scanning for networks this time, most of them were gone, and the few that remained were renamed. Unfortunately, this is a dealbreaker for us, and we will have to look elsewhere (Alister, Days Inn) next time if it is not completely fixed.
