The hotel common areas and the room itself had a terrible smell. there was no hot water and the story about when the WH was going to be fixed kept changing. The plumber was on scene working on it however parts may have been needed. The front desk staff were honest and pleasant to deal with. I had the whole family and we did not have time for all of that stuff, so we went to a different hotel a few mile away.

Everything was great except we had no hot water at all during our stay and for a few hours in the morning of our departure the water was turned off because the hot water heater was being worked on. We weren’t told the hot water heater wasn’t working on the property until after we had been charged for our room and after we had already arrived to the property exhausted. A shower was much needed and a big part of what we needed a room for in the first place, that and a good nights sleep before getting back on the road on our 23 hour trip. If we would’ve been called and pre warned about the water situation, we would’ve cancelled and found another hotel so we could shower. We had worked all day, driven 7 hours and then arrived so ready to wash up and get in bed to rest before getting back on the road for another full day of driving so it was all pretty frustrating to be honest though I do understand these things happen, however I do believe we should’ve at least been notified of the issue when we booked, that way we could make our own decision before going there and wasting our money on what we thought would be a shower and a nights sleep. Also, our neighbors talked and such the entire night, which is great for them but ridiculous that we could hear every single word said through the walls like they were right there in the room with us. I hate complaining, seriously I do, but this was just a bad experience where we didn’t get what we paid for and was a total waste of our money.

Room smelled of mildew, there was mildew in the air vents, rust streaks in the bathtub, the shower faucet was loose to where it would just fall over and turn full hot water while bathing (ouch!) the floor was sticky and the heater wouldn’t work. Need I say more….i want a refubd
