Bayview Bungalow in South Rockport

Whether you're into fishing, water activities, shopping, or just relaxing, this is your place. Only one block from Aransas Bay, two blocks from Historic Downtown, minutes from Rockport Beach and boat launch, and five minutes from Cove Harbor. All you need to bring is your fishing gear, swimsuits, beach towels, or credit card for shopping.

The back deck is perfect for soaking up the bay views with your morning coffee watching the shrimp boats head out and your evening cocktails as they return.

All living areas are elevated with bay views from the open concept living area including the dining table. There is enough sleeping for 8 people. There are two bedrooms with queen beds. The master bedroom has an ensuite as well as a stackable washer/dryer in a closet inside the ensuite. There is a main bathroom for everyone else to use. The second bedroom has a private street facing deck. The third bedroom has a XL bunk bed with 10" memory foam mattresses that comfortably sleeps a 6' 6" adult. There is a fold-out twin-size sleeper chair in living area and a roll-a-way bed in the second bedroom closet.

For those that want to enjoy home cooked meals, take advantage of the fully appointed kitchen with granite countertops and island w/seating. Downstairs use the propane grill or the double burner fish fryer for cooking up your fresh catch or shrimp boil. All cookware and propane is included. Also included for your fun are 3 kayaks with paddles, life jackets and anchors.

July weekend

Our family of 4 enjoyed our stay in this wonderful home. So many lovely touches inside and outside too. The home and yard was well taken care of, clean, comfortable and in a very convenient location for shopping, fishing and more. We appreciated the host being so welcoming thoughtful and available to answer questions. I would recommend staying here when visiting Rockport.

Excellent home away from home

This is a lovely house. Kitchen had everything we needed to cook. Grill worked perfectly. Showers are fantastic - pressure and temperature. Stairs and under house porch are well lit at night - very important as i had a visually impaired family member with me. Table and island are big and ideal for family meals. Sofas and beds are super comfy. Extra floor fans in every room make for refreshing sleep. Only thing to consider (not a deal breaker by any means) is the third bedroom with the bunk twin beds is very small and narrow. There's a mounted fan in the room but it was still a bit stuffy for my adult nephew. It's better suited for children than adults. Other than that it's a great place. Location is convenient. Short drive to Rockport Beach and a few mins distance if you want to just walk along the rocky edge of the water. Communication with prop mgr was outstanding. We had an issue with some yellow jackets and Alicia was on site within 15 mins to take care of them. She inspected every chair and plank outside to make sure they were all taken care of. Highly recommend this place.

Perfect Fishing Getaway

Our family stayed here for my son's 21st birthday and we all did a charter fishing trip out of the Conn Brown Harbor to celebrate. The home was beautifully appointed and it felt like home away from home. The beds were comfortable, the kitchen had everything we needed and the patio was breezy and had plenty of outdoor seating. We didn't make use of the kayaks but loved that it was an option for the taking. Communication with Rick and Kathy was great and we had a fantastic family getaway. Thank you guys! The Liddell Family

Cute, quiet beach house. Great neighborhood close to water. Rockport was great! Home had basic dishes required for cooking. No food items are allowed to be left so be sure to bring anything you need!! Master shower was exquisite!! Simple access to home

Perfect for a long weekend trip

This was our fourth time to stay at this property. We love the location, close to the water and restaurants. Big table for games and puzzles. Always clean. Lots of outside seating. Love the new lights on the stairs.

Perfect Place

We enjoyed our stay at the Bayview Bungalow. The house had everything we needed for our extended family weekend getaway. We enjoyed the bay views and the jetty that was easily within walking distance, as well as the cute little shops nearby. The kitchen was well stocked and had all we needed to prepare a couple of meals during our stay. We’d definitely stay here again!

Great place!

Three bedroom, two bathroom beach house close to the Rockport Cultural Art District and close to the bay. It was comfortable, decorated nicely, and had everything we needed. The dining table and family room seat six. There are two bar stools at the kitchen island and two extra chairs in the house. Two bedrooms have a queen size bed in each of them, and one bedroom has bunk beds. Bunk bed room is very small, but fine for sleeping and very cozy. There is a deck on the west side of the house outside of a bedroom (2 seats), and a deck on the east side of house outside of the family room (6 seats). There is also seating under the house for 6-8. The house was very clean and decorated nicely. The beds and furniture were comfortable and sturdy. There were plenty of ceiling fans, standing fans, and TV's throughout the house. The neighborhood was nice and quiet. It was a great place for our family to gather together!

Great Girls Weekend

We have stayed at this property multiple times and it is our go to vacation rental in Rockport! We had a wonderful weekend and enjoyed walking to the shops downtown and spending time visiting and catching up on the deck. Great view, quiet neighbors, and everything you need to relax and unwind.

Perfect Family Getaway

Due to family sickness, we all thought our family vacation was not going to happen. The owners went out of their way to help us and we just finished a great week in Rockport, TX! The property is wonderful. It is only a quick walk to the ocean or wonderful downtown shops. A few blocks away if several seafood shops out in front of the boats that caught the seafood...fresh! The house was perfectly stocked for us to cook, play cards and games, and comfortable chairs to relax. Very well stocked kitchen and a BBQ grill. Bathrooms were well stocked with lots of towels. Probably our best VRBO stay! Thanks guys.
