We arrived just in time to have a cocktail and small salad as our meal was prepared for us to take-out to our cottage. We each had steak and it was prepared exactly as ordered and was delicious! We stayed in cottage 218. Beautiful view, beautiful log cottage, very clean and was even able to check out a little late due to work related business. Staff was very friendly and accomodating. Can't wait to go back!

The lodge was exactly what you would expect. The scenery was beautiful. The room was very spacious and clean. The beds are doubles and not queens, so be aware. The food was great!

The cabin was adorable. It had a stocked kitchen, clean bathroom (the shower didn't work great so hopefully that gets fixed), lovely view, and a cozy working fireplace. We loved it. Can't wait to come back.

We have been to a lot of State Parks over the years and this one might be the best. Great views. The staff and service were amazing, and our cabin was nice and clean. We ate breakfast and dinner at the lodge several times and it was always fantastic. The alcohol menu is really nice, plenty of variety and reasonably priced. They offer more amenities than other parks like borrowing a fishing pole and tackle box for the lake. You can also borrow board games from the game room to take to your room/cabin. The game room also has a ping pong table, a table-size Connect4 game and other cool things. Pet friendly. The hiking trails were clear and labeled well with plenty of signs. We will be visiting again.

We came to see the wildlife in the surrounding forest. Only saw bed bugs, roaches and rodents. Almost as bad as Lake Cumberland state parks facilities. At least the staff at Pine mountain were nice, more than zu can say about Lake Cumberland state park. Kentucky you can surely do better. Never staying at another Kentucky state park. Disgusting.

Enjoyed our stay. Expedia did not send over the reservation. They were full. Luckily they were able to accommodate us with a backup room. It was 47 more a night than I agreed to on this site. Disappointed with Expedia.
