The positives: 1. Excellent location 2. A beautiful building dating back to 1912 – restored to high standards and quite beautiful from the outside 3. The front desk and breakfast staff – mostly overseas staff but all lovely and kind 4. Excellent choice for breakfast 5. The quality of the fittings are good The negatives: Really small room and bulky chez lange designed to stub your toes and huge unnecessary mini-bar and little room to keep clothes Poor value for £330 per night Crowded pool with no chance of swimming Not a good relaxing vibe in the atrium with sparse population and pulsating music at all hours

It works!

Downtown Copenhagen in August heat! Aircon works and there’s a pool -this is far Beyound the std. of many other Copenhagen hotels. -More on specifics, the staff actually like that you are there and are very very welcoming.

Nice hotel, until check out day. Checked out . But then told can’t use the pool area (for a drink’) because I’ve checked out and no longer have a room key! Every other hotel I’ve stayed at lets you use the facilities until leave. Wouldn’t recommend based on this.

This hotel made our stay in Copenhagen nearly perfect. The location near to Museums, restaurants and Tivoli made it easy to go back and enjoy the rooftop pool when we needed a break. The rooms were lovely and the lobby was a great place to gather with our family and play cards. The food at the hotel was delicious - my only complaint would be the prices were very high and breakfast was not included.

Hotels.com Error?

We booked a Superior Plus King room and when we arrived we were given a room that on the Hotels.com website looks like a Superior King. The hotel said the pictures on the Hotels.com website were inaccurate. However the hotel staff, especially Carla, fixed the issue and gave us an upgraded room. The Key difference is that the Superior King is 20 sq. meters and the Superior Plus King is 24 sq. meters which is not noted on the hotels.com website.

The lobby bar is great and very popular. The menu items are delicious. Staff is super friendly and hands on. Rooms are adorable. Not the largest in size but it is not a problem either.

Love this hotel- stylish, grand and beautiful. The rooms are fairly good size, the breakfast was excellent. Loved the art in the side stairwells and the easy access to the train station and the harbor- we walked everywhere!
