Shout out to Emil Sommers who was very helpful. Sheets were crisp and clean and the room was excellent with a Nordic vibe, stylish and retains its antique character and charm.

I stayed over New year period, the hotel was well positioned for the main city square fireworks The big draw back for this hotel was noise from the train tracks to the back of the property , the hotel even provide earplugs, whilst they don’t run all night the stretch of track behind the hotel has lots of screeching sections Reception was very friendly on check in, I was staying with a friend he thought his room was very tired and in need of renovation but when I saw it it was much better proportioned with a balcony than mine, I had an attic room which it looked like it had been renovated but was very small and noisy We both paid the same The hotel doesn’t have a bar for guests but it does have a very popular Library bar which had queues most times of the day. Being a resident gave no priority, I found the staff quite rude until you got in and sat down then they were attentive. Historic hotel but the noise and room would stop me staying again

I loved it so much ! it is just beautiful. It has this cozy European vibe that I enjoyed so much. I loved my room, cozy and comfortable. The location was just perfect !! central station is a stone throw away and all the shops and beautiful places are right at your door step! If I go back , I will book this hotel again

The best position for a hotel. Loveliest of staff. Rooms a little tired in places - but I loved my view of the station and the kindness of leaving earplugs ( which I did not need). Will definitely be back.

From check in to check out the staff were so helpful. Was given a room in attic overlooking Tivoli. It was great, had to watch head on the beams. Breakfast was excellent and coffee superb. There was a great sense of being in a previous generation especially in the bar. We would return again
