When you arrive at Home Plate, you will be pleased with your decision. Set back off the road in a quiet clearing in woods, with lots of privacy, you will feel the hustle and bustle of baseball life disappear. There is plenty of outdoor deck space to enjoy, as well as lot of open yard as well as a great fire pit overlooking the home.

As soon as you enter Home Plate, you will know that the hosts here care deeply about their home. This well-laid-out and well-furnished home is perfect for your stay in Cooperstown. There is plenty of space in the kitchen to prep meals for your group, and different options for where you'll sit to eat. Whether you are out on the deck enjoying the sights and sounds of nature while you eat or you choose to eat inside and enjoy the view out the large windows you'll feel like you are in the forest. The great room space is perfect to hang out and relax while still taking advantage of the great large windows and sliding doors.

Three bedrooms and 2 baths all located on the main floor make for easy access even if there are folks in your group with mobility issues, only a few steps to climb when coming onto the deck from the driveway. A King bedroom with ensuite bath, and a Queen bedroom that shares a bath off the hallway with the 3rd bedroom with a pair of twins rounding out the bed/bath roster. There is a laundry room conveniently located on the 1st floor as you enter the mudroom. Best Location!!

We had a GREAT experience at Home Plate! It was a GREAT location to Dreams Park and the other fun things we did while we were in Cooperstown. It was super convenient, clean and simple. Just what we needed for a busy week filled with lots of baseball. We hope to book here again in 3 years when our other son goes to Dreams Park ☺️

Perfect for a Cooperstown Week

The house is perfect for a family or 2 families coming to Dreams Park for the week. It’s an easy 5 minute drive from the park, enabling quick drives back for air conditioning and meal breaks inbetween games. Bedrooms were all comfortable and the house was immaculately clean and well kept. The deck is large and beautiful- very peaceful at nighttime. We will be recommending it to next year’s families for sure.

Beautiful home and close to CDP

Very well maintained and extremely clean! The three bedrooms were spacious as well as the loft area. The home is set back from the road with an expansive lawn area. We were able to come back to the house in between games and get out of the sun. From the home to the CDP parking lot was about 8-10 minutes. Overall, very happy with our stay! All the amenities, dishes, pans and little things (starter coffee pods, sugar) were perfect!
