Check in was problematic. We were given the wrong room which led to uncomfortable conversations with the other guests in “our” room. The signage outside says this is a bed and breakfast, which it’s not anymore. This was very disappointing. The facility is set up so well for this. I hope they bring it back.

Manager was very friendly. Very warm and cozy. It is not longer a bed and breakfast which I did not know. I booked it thinking it was. A little disappointed

Old Northern.

We have been there many times but now that it has changed into a hotel rather than a B and B a lot of the amenities are gone. No breakfast, no wine, cheese and fruit from 5 to 6. It is a beautiful tranquil site.

That was a unique experience - like a travel through time. The property is arranged with passion and care-about. The hotel is cozy and charming. Large drawing room with a piano, large dining room with a kitchen, patio with a fireplace, private beach and a dock on the lake - all this make the stay in the hotel memorable and pleasant. On the negative side - the rooms are quite small and tightly packed with furniture. No air conditioning. No free breakfast and no 5 pm wine, as advertised. But, nevertheless, that was a pleasant and memorable stay. We would like to come back someteme.
