"One of the best rental houses our family has stayed in! Very spacious and well designed indoor space, very clean, and for my legally blind husband - the best lighting we’ve encountered! The kids enjoyed playing on the big lawn and walking along the river (except the flies!). It is a peaceful area outside town but we found great restaurants not too far away and we enjoyed seeing so many more stars at night. The WiFi was the only challenge - too slow for our teens or to load video but the signal itself was good. I don’t know if that’s a fact of life in a rural area or if a new modem would help. Very comfortable beds in every room! We didn’t cook at all, but the kitchen looked to be Well-supplied. "

"The cabin was just as stayed on the listing. It had most of the necessary items and was very clean. However it did no justice to the sounds of the roaring river just yards away from the cabin. Inside the cabin, there is peacefulness. Open the door and you hear the sounds of the river flowing by. Take a hike on the horse trails on the state forest lands nearby. It was a very restful time. Enjoyed the steaks and baked potatoes on the grill right beside the warmth of the firepit. Would love to come here again."
