The only thing ok about the hotel was that the beds were comfy. Everything else was terrible. Our room was filthy, broken door that looked like someone took a crow bar to it, broken lamp shades, broken shower that I had to use duct tape to be able to use, there was even what appeared to be blood splatter on the wall. When I called the front desk to ask for a new room, I was told, they were full and all they could do for us was to cancel our reservation and they would refund us. Not much of an option and there was no was they were full with only 10 cars in the parking lot! On our second night, a dog barked from the room across the hall all night long. At midnight I called to complain, but they did nothing and the dag was still barking untill 7am when we left. The gym was filthy and almost every machine was broken. The breakfast was meager and the hot food was cold. I will never stay here again and I hope someone reads this and picks a different place to stay!!

Cleanliness in room ok. Toilet ran unless you pushed up handle. Hot water when hotel isn’t busy. Cockroach in bathroom. Elevator very noisy and interior construction shoddy. No guide on TV remote. Breakfast cereal was stale, fruit old. However location was good for restaurant choices but not so great for Renaissance Fair… Lots of construction. Staff friendly and helpful.

Overall, the hotel met our needs. The beds were comfortable, and the air conditioner got cold. Some of the furnishings in the room needed to be replaced (lamp shade and rolling chair were in bad condition). Staff was friendly.

The staff was helpful. I happened to be an hour early for check-in and they worked to get me in my room. The room was clean and spacious. I’m tall and having a shower with the shower head over my head was a lovely bonus I rarely find in other hotel rooms.

We booked La Quinta Inn & Suites Magnolia, TX through Hotels.com for our company crew. Our superintendent arrived early to place a company card for incidentals and clearly told the front desk our workers were on night shift and would check in Tuesday morning. Despite that, the reservation was canceled without notice. The associate “Riley” was rude and dismissive, citing a 2:00 a.m. cancel policy—even though we had documented late arrival. When we asked for a manager, Riley refused to share a name or contact and told us to “call later.” Our crew was left without rooms after a long shift. This was unprofessional and unacceptable. We expect an apology, refund/credit, and corrective training. Until then, we cannot recommend this location.

This is a very nice motel. Everything was clean and fresh. The room was clean comfortable and fresh. Only minor little nit was that the breakfast was promptly removed. We went down for breakfast at 8:10 AM (a reasonable time in my opinion) and there was very little left - the hot items were already removed from the serving area. I asked the lady in the back (that was over the area) for some food and in a minute, she arrived with a tray of sausage (to my delight). As we ate our food, several other guests trickled in - summary point: it's not unusual to sleep in a little on vacation (not everyone is an early riser) so having the hot portions of the breakfast available up 0900 Hours should not be a challenge to anyone in the hospitality business.
