Tucked away in a peaceful spot close to the canal and walking distance to traditional pubs and shops, the cottage offers a truly unique stay. Full of character it’s a perfect escape for couples, families, business meetings , cyclists, walkers or solo travelers or anyone craving a cosy retreat. The cottage enjoys excellent transport links to Manchester and Stoke while remaining wonderfully secluded. Trains can be heard passing from time to time - a nostalgic reminder of the cottage’s heritage .
The space
I have recently trained as an interior designer, and enjoyed every minute of renovating this character property , it has a warm friendly cozy feel.
The Cottage is 5 minute walk to country pubs, bars, Chinese, chip shop, bakery, convenience store, hairdressers, canal, train station and bus stop . 5 mins drive to Congleton town centre and a 20
Minute walk .

The cottage is set in a small wooded area, there is parking In front of the cottage, and space for additional cars onsite.
The cottage has an entrance porch for shoes and coats which leads to a living area. The living room has a log burning fire, and a smart TV.
The dinning area boasts many Orginal features such as wooden beams and a decorative stove. Games, books and jigsaws are there to be enjoyed.
A door leads to the kitchen where you can find a coffee machine, cooker, dishwasher, fridge freezer and breakfast bar.
The private outside area is paved, and has BBQ and table and chairs.
Upstairs there is a very comfortable king size bed and a smart TV.
The second bedroom is compact but contains a very comfortable small double bed, wardrobe and drawers .
The shower room has a shower but no bath.

We will leave coffee pods and enough logs to start you off. You can purchase additional logs from the local convenience store.
