Scarlett can accommodate up to 4 people. The apartment features 2 bedrooms: one with a double bed, en-suite bathroom, and walk-in closet, and the other with a double bed. The bright living area, with a fully equipped open kitchen, is perfect for convivial moments. The apartment also includes an additional full bathroom with a shower and a study room, ideal for working or relaxing in peace. Scarlett is equipped with heating and air conditioning, ensuring year-round comfort.

The apartment is located just outside the historic center — a lively area full of bars, restaurants, shops, as well as churches and historic buildings. During the summer season, the streets are bustling all day long, while they are quieter in the winter months.

GETTING AROUND

ASF bus services are available in Como and nearby towns; tickets can be purchased onboard (cash only) or at authorized points (the bus station in Piazza Matteotti, bars, and tobacconists). Taxi services are also available.

From the pier, ferries connect to Cernobbio, Torno, Bellagio, Varenna, Colico, and other lakeside destinations. Please note that during the high season, long queues may form at the ticket office before boarding. Tickets can also be purchased online through the \"Navigazione Laghi\" website.

From Como San Giovanni train station, you can regularly reach Milan Central Station and Switzerland (Lugano, Bellinzona, Locarno), while from Como Nord Lago station, you can reach Milan Cadorna railway station.

TIPS

Dedicate a day to visiting the charming towns around the lake. Como city is the urban hub of the area, but the small towns are gems with beautiful lakeside villas.

To move around and explore the Lake Como area, especially in the small towns, it’s essential to wear comfortable shoes.

There are many public drinking fountains in the area, and the water is safe to drink unless stated otherwise. Tap water is also drinkable. Feel free to bring your refillable water bottle!

If you\'re looking for a relatively easy hike with stunning mountain views, the Greenway del Lago di Como is a straightforward path connecting lakefront towns from Colonno to Griante, requiring minimal climbing. A bus will take you to the starting point in Colonno.

Seek out traditional restaurants to taste local dishes, such as those featuring fish from Lake Como.

In Italy, many shops (especially small ones) and services close in the middle of the day, so plan your shopping accordingly.

Lake Como is one of Europe’s deepest lakes and Italy’s deepest. Swimming and diving are prohibited in many areas and can be dangerous. However, there are options for those who want to dive in. In Como, there is an outdoor pool near Villa Olmo, but swimming in the lake is strongly discouraged and mostly forbidden. Beaches are available in other lakeside towns. A charming beach can be found in Careno, but it may be crowded on weekends. Locals and visitors also love heading to Nesso, where the boldest swimmers can jump into the lake from the old Roman bridge near the waterfall.

The Lido of Bellagio and the pebble beach in San Giovanni await those willing to travel and explore the beautiful town of Bellagio, located at the intersection of the two lake branches.

Lake Como is situated in a mountainous region. While the surrounding Pre-Alps don’t appear very high, the climate is still influenced by the nearby mountains, and temperatures can change quickly. Pay special attention to weather conditions during hikes and bring warm, waterproof clothing!
