Exactly as described

Had such a great stay here. Easy walking distance to the busy waterfront/ferry area of Como. Place was clean and had a beautiful view of the water. Went during the heatwave but inside stayed surprisingly cool with the help of the two standing fans. Communication was easy and quick. Would highly recommend staying here!

We had a negative experience at this apartment. On the bright side, it’s large, cheap, and has great views of the lake. On the downside, it’s extremely inconvenient without a car. The listing states that the condo is a short walk (~15 min) from various parts of central Como. But that isn’t true. The condo is only safely accessible by bus or car. The road leading to it is narrow, busy, and does not even have a sidewalk at various points. The one time we tried to walk home we were afraid for our lives. The noise from the road is also very loud in the condo. We wanted an apartment that was walkable to central Como, so we vacated the apartment two days into our 6-day stay and booked a hotel in central Como. We explained our situation to the host, Sara, and requested a refund. She did not deny that the apartment is not walkable. Instead, she said we should have known it was not walkable because it is on a hill and evident from the reviews. She also repeatedly said that we should have investigated further and asked more questions about the booking. In short, she suggested it was our fault. I responded that I did not think it was our fault because we relied on the listing, which states in numerous places that the apartment is walkable to central Como. I told her I thought she should clarify in the listing that the apartment is not walkable. She did not respond to that suggestion. Avoid this apartment if you are looking for a place that is walkable to central Como.

Sara ist sehr nett und hilfsbereit. Das Haus ist etwas in die Jahre gekommen, aber man kann es aushalten. Küche und Bad sind gut. Leider war es in Como Ende Mai zu kalt, aber das kann man der Unterkunft nicht ankreiden. Wir konnten das Auto an der Unterkunft stehen lassen und haben das Abenteuer eines Fußmarsches auf der schmalen Straße gewagt. Wenn man aufpasst, geht es. Como Innenstadt ist recht nah.

Todella valoisa, iso ja siisti asunto, jossa mieletön näköala sisältä ja parvekkeelta! Yhteydenpito asunnon omistajan kanssa sujui vaivattomasti. Liikenteen ääni kuuluu jonkun verran sisälle ja tie keskustasta asunnolle on kävelijälle hiukan epämiellyttävä, koska autot ajavat hyvin läheltä. Aikuisille ihmisille tie ei ollut ongelma (pimeällä joko heijastin tai lisävalo kannattaa ottaa mukaan) ,lasten kanssa en haluisi tietä kulkea kävellen. Asunto sijaitsee hyvällä paikalla. Keskusta ja järvi on kivenheiton päässä alapuolella ja Spina Verden luonnonpuistoon yläpuolella kävelee vartissa.
