We loved our stay at L'Approdo di Sant'Agostino and would stay again! Stefano was so kind, welcoming and helpful from the moment we arrived to the hotel to the day we left. The room was huge, very clean and comfortable. Location was excellent, very close to the ferries and to the city center. We LOVED our stay and wish we would have stayed longer. I 100% recommend it! We stayed at Stefano’s flat and appreciated Stefano meeting us upon our arrival. He explained Como in a nutshell and gave us a few ideas for meals, shopping etc. The flat is spacious and has a large bathroom with great pressure and hot water. The flat is situated in an ideal location with easy access to the restaurants, shopping and ferry services. Also a 2 minute walk to the railway station. We recommend booking this flat and will again upon our return.

This is an excellent apartment with a good partial view of the lake. It’s a most attractive room and bathroom and very spacious and well appointed. It is very convenient for a large number of restaurants along the lake as well as the ferry dock. The cathedral and rest of the centre are just a few moments walk away and the station is no more than 20 minutes walk. Can highly recommend.

The room was clean and very spacious wirh a large bed. The bathrooastasm was also spacious with a really good walk in shower. Towels were changed daily if you wanted. Although there is no breakfast available there are good cafes nearby serving toast, coffee, juice etc The property is in a brilliant location for the ferry and the funicular, both thoroughly enjoyable and extremely scenic.

Check in is easy with clear instructions from Stafano a few days before check in. Stefano will greet you at the door with the introductions of the property. Hotel is near the ferry ticket counter and there are many reaturants and shops around it. 1min walk to the lake to enjoy the sunset.

Very nice location and right on the dock. 2minute walk from the como lago station. The room was big and the place was very clean. We were given suggestions on some good spot to eat. The owner was very responsive. Just one little thing that can be improved was the bed mattress. The second night I woke up with a back pain. The mattress was too soft for my liking. Other than that I would highly recommend the place to all for your visit to lake Como.

This place was full on Italian charm! Stefano was our host and made us feel welcomed right away. The room was spacious, and felt like home. The location was wonderful, right on the water, with many food options all within walking distance. We really enjoyed village hopping on the ferry and wandering around enjoying the Italian neighborhoods and architecture.

Great location on Como. Stay here. Near the train station, bus station, as well as the ferry pier, i.e., each within a five-minute walk from the accommodation. Huge room, huge bathroom. Everything works well. Hot water, heater, comfortable bed. Owner Stefano is there to greet you as you check in, and will provide any info or help as required. If you’re staying, and like eating meat, try the Il Mannarino Como restaurant. :)

Accommodation is located in a fantastic spot just of the boardwalk close to transport, restaurants and the old town. The room was very spacious and the bathroom had views of the bay. The bed was very comfortable and the rooms very clean. Our hoist Stefano met us on arrival, gave a great rundown on the property and has very friendly. This is definitely a place we will return to and recommend to friends.
