This apartment was in a great location and was very clean and tidy. We were there during the heat wave, and unfortunately, the air-conditioning didn’t work as well as we would’ve liked. They had fans in there to help, but it didn’t stay very cool, which made it tough to sleep. We also had some issues checking into the place - the host was not flexible with check-in time, which is fine, but then when we did go to check-in at the allowed time, the key was not in the box so we had to wait until someone came to help us out. The lock on the actual apartment door was very tricky. I’ve heard this is common with Italian locks, but it was a struggle every time we came back to the apartment and tried to get in. The apartment had everything we needed for a short stay, but it would’ve been nice to have some extra towels and there was no conditioner in the shower. Overall, we would stay again because of the location and the cleanliness.
