I spent extra for a superior loft king room seeing that it looked more boutique and spacious from the photos and description. The room I booked was not available when I arrived, they put in me a different room that was supposedly an upgrade, but seemed much smaller than the advertised room I booked. Heat did not work in the first room, I had to go back down and across the street to the front desk to get a new room. It's pretty inconvenient that you have to go outside to get to the hotel lobby from the historic building. Once I was in the new room it was fine, but nothing spectacular for the price. Everything was dusty and it didn't seem like the room had been used in a while. Furniture was kind of beat up and the tub was dirty. It served the purpose for one night, but I was disappointed I spent extra to book what seemed to be a fancy room, only to get let down.

The room was very nice, however it was only set up for 1 person for amenities. 1 wash cloth, 1 coffee pod. Check in was easy. Valet parking was great but we should have called for our car much earlier because we waited about 30 minutes before they brought it up. The restaurant in the lobby was fantastic. Good food and very friendly attentive staff. We will definitely stay here again.

We arrived they had pur room ready. Unfortunately the room was right by the construction so we had a horrible view and our curtains did close full so all the lights from outside came in. Then went to the bar not enough staff for the area. I asked for a drink and watched her serve everyone but me. I finally ordered an "easy" drink so i could get something. I have stayed here before and none of this happened. Hopefully they can fix it before our next stay.
