I spent extra for a superior loft king room seeing that it looked more boutique and spacious from the photos and description. The room I booked was not available when I arrived, they put in me a different room that was supposedly an upgrade, but seemed much smaller than the advertised room I booked. Heat did not work in the first room, I had to go back down and across the street to the front desk to get a new room. It's pretty inconvenient that you have to go outside to get to the hotel lobby from the historic building. Once I was in the new room it was fine, but nothing spectacular for the price. Everything was dusty and it didn't seem like the room had been used in a while. Furniture was kind of beat up and the tub was dirty. It served the purpose for one night, but I was disappointed I spent extra to book what seemed to be a fancy room, only to get let down.
