There was an odd odor in the building. Our room was missing the TV and had writing on the wall. The sheets looked clean. As two females travelling together we did not feel safe so we ended up driving home instead of staying at this hotel.

The place was filthy and disgusting. The bed sheets had cigarette burn holes and stains and the floors were filthy. The hallways smelled of urine and cigarette smoke. Will not ever stay here again

There was none of the usual things you find in a hotel room, there was no soap in the bathroom, no blow drier, there was nothing to make coffee with in the morning. There wasn’t a closet and the bathroom sink table was duck taped. The place is in need of some repairs. The ice machine also didn’t work.

Front desk staff was rude and not helpful. Booked 3 months in advance when I showed up to check in he flat out said before I could say a word "No there is no checking in, find somewhere else, we have no rooms" and when I mentioned I had a reservation he said "not my problem find somewhere else." Didn't even suggest anywhere else to find a room at. Then walked away.

Checking in there were people verbally fighting, halls smelled of marijuana smoke. Once got to our room no tv, clock radio didn’t work, hot water was barely warm, both faucets in bathroom were warm water. Towels were stained yellow, bedspread was stained blue in places. Only good thing was mattress was halfway comfortable.

I don’t recommend this hotel at all nothing was clean and felt a little unsafe there. The bed bugs kept me up all night and woke up with with bites all over my feet. The smell was terrible smelt like weed and cigarettes. The bathroom in the lobby didn’t even have a door and the service was terrible don’t even waste your time looking up this hotel needs to be knocked down

There were no trash cans in the room. Whenever you turned the tv on it did a 20 minute channel scan. The jacuzzi in the room, after having the water running for over an hour, didn’t have enough water in it to run. The mandatory deposit for the room, which wasn’t clearly listed on the listing and more than the cost of the room still hasn’t been refunded after 1 week.

Lobby was smelly and just kind of gross but i hoped the rooms would be better. We checked in saw the room and immediately went back down to cancel. It was filthy! No elevator stairs smelled like urine. Room smelled like smoke, room was dirty and not like not cleaned between guests more like not cleaned ....ever. The only thing good I can say is when I went down to say we wanted to cancel they were at least nice about it.

I would not suggest staying here. I’d compare it to a one hour hotel (if you know what I mean) I think the only thing clean in the room was the sheets, and I’m not even 100% sure of that. The bathtub didn’t drain, the toilet rocked, the floor was dirtier then walking outside, the stairwell smelled super musty, I don’t even know why Expedia would have this hotel on their website! People were complaining about bed bugs and roaches. I checked the mattress, dressers, and microwave, I didn’t find any trace of pests in my room. I wouldn’t doubt it to be true though. The staff was nice to me, so no problems there. Housekeeping could definitely step up their game.

The bathroom was gross! It looked like black mold in the front of the bathtub. No hand soap and the towels were very old and felt dirty. No lock on the windows. No back on the remote to keep batteries in it. No working vending machines. I requested handicapped accessible room. They sold out of rooms and had no elevator. They gave us top floor, so my handicapped husband had to use stairs. There was also a prostitute on the road 100 yards away and saw drug deal on road to get to hotel. Not a safe feeling.

Look, it gets the job done. It was a bed to sleep in that was cheaper than anywhere else in Columbus during a music festival. Was it shady? Absolutely. Outdated? 100% But the staff was just trying their best and so was everything else about this Motel-6-esk hotel and honestly? I’m okay with that. Maybe that says more about me as a person than I care to admit, but hey, get what ya pay for. Also friendly tip: The ice machine was broken with no hope of revival and the shower looked like it was from my grandma’s house and missing a drain cover. So bring coolers and possible shower shoes if that matters to ya—I, personally, did not get foot fungus so that’s a plus.

This hotel is not as described and the pictures are not accurate. There is no breakfast, according to the receptionist there hasn't been since covid. The whole place is dirty and stinks like cigarettes. We were also told the hotel was overbooked, and they weren't going to give us tbe room we paid for. After insisting they found a different room for us, but it is a management problem to overbook like that. Additionally, it seems like Columbus Grande doesn't exist at all, and it is actually the buckeye inn. The front door has both signs on it, and both addresses are for the same building. But all the rooms are the same. It seems like the buckeye inn is trying to pass itself off as the "nicer" Columbus grande. About the only good thing I can say is the wifi is free and that worked well.

I asked if they had bugs and was told there were no bugs yet as soon I we entered the room my daughter pulled back the bed spread and recovered a roach crawling underneath on the side of the bed.
