Housekeeping needs improvement

This is our go to place to stay in Columbia. It's clean, comfortable, and in a convenient location. This stay was disappointing, as our room was not serviced by housekeeping during our four night stay. We specifically requested service on the third day, the front desk documented it, but it did not happen. Upon checkout we brought up the situation. No apologies were expressed, but a very small number of Marriott points were offered, amounting to approximately $16. Very disappointing.

Rooms are not really family friendly with the translucent bathroom door. I prefer not to see my family members silhouette while they are trying to use the bathroom. Also, when someone has to go to the restroom, it lights up the dark room and disturbs the other individuals sleep.

The property was remodeled. It was beautiful and the staff is very kind. Such a positive area full of food, shopping and at your convenience. 10/10 I do recommend.
