Rooms are ok , owner wants to charge a $100 deposit to stay on top of the room rate, The refuses to return you're deposit even though you get told it will be returned on check out ,wanted me to pay a deposit after renting a room on Travelocity, whwn the website doesn't mention the $100 deposit. They tell you on arrival.

It was rough off the get go. Smelled like smoke as soon as you walked in. The receptionist was acting very weird, acted like she was on meth. About 5 minutes after I got into my room, two guys were yelling at each other and threatening to fight one another. Room was not clean. There was a chair that originally had electric controls to kick out the footrest, but that was not working and didn’t even have an electrical plug to plug in. Very rough- certainly won’t be staying there again.

There were gnats in the room. Card key reader didn't work but once out of 10 tries. Smoking rooms are only on the third floor but there's no elevator so I had to get a room for non-smoking. Room was clean but definitely need upgrades. Wi-Fi was iffy

Dirty, stunk, ugly, smelly, it was so smoke scented and was a no smoking room. That was after we had to change rooms because they couldnt get the key to work in first room. I thought we had stayed in the worst ever in Atchison, Ks. This one is now the worst and nastiest.......winner winner chickenn dinner.

My wife and I stayed here after a football game in Columbia, MO instead of going back to St. Louis, MO that night. Looking through some of the reviews, I decided to book this hotel due to the inexpensive costs and several positive reviews (in comparison to hotels in the Columbia/Kingdom City, MO area). The hotel is in an area close to the interstate highway, but it was very outdated (hard bed, no iron, old towels, etc.). Even though we were only there approximately 10 hours (for a quick overnight stay), it was below the standard of other hotels that I have booked.

Where do I begin…. The front desk was friendly but very slow. As soon as you walk in, the smell of old mildew and cigarettes was all over the building. The carpet was dirty in the hallways. When we entered the room, it smelled of smoke, and mildew. The carpets look like they have not been cleaned in years. The curtain was falling apart and had holes in them. The fridge was dirty, the little lamp about the desk was creapy, and the bathroom was filthy. Towels looked like it needed to be washed more. Motel felt like there was something wrong with it. I fell on my back not sure what happened coming out of the bathroom. Had a gash on my forehead. I would like a refund because this was not worth the stay. It was just a terrible experience coming from California.
