The communication with host was very good but the room itself was a bit disappointing due to the smell of the place and the bathroom was subpar due to smell and stain in the tub and tiles.

The room was pretty much exactly what I expected based on the photos. The location was great if you’re looking to go to Manitou Springs and was close to Garden of the Gods. Pretty view from the door. Could have been cleaner. There was trash and dust bunnies under the bed. Check-in was cumbersome. There were no check in instructions, no mention of what unit was mine or how to utilize the keypad lock. So I had to ask for every one of those things individually. No check out instructions either. So I had to guess. The area is more of a historic area, so the building is older. I originally booked my stay and had to rebook because it was moving listings. It was more when I booked and needed to be refunded, which I had to ask for a second refund because I was still overcharged. Not a terrible experience, but could have gone a lot smoother.
