When we arrived we got room 322, within 5-10 minutes of being there we noticed the room was very dirty, the carpets had stains everywhere, the night stands had sticky like stains on the as well, we traveled with a toddler and she was finding stuff everywhere, she at one point found a gummy bear and tried to eat it, luckily I caught her before that happened. Immediately went to front desk and requested another room, they gave us 622 without questions. This second room was cleaner but not clean. The location was great but was not pleased with the whole stay. The second room was not once cleaned in the whole stay, so I had to go request clean towels.

We found out moments before check-in that we for some reason we’re on a do not rent list. We were not allowed to check in. We have no understanding of why, and none was given. We had already checked out of our last motel, which we didn’t care for and we’re planning to come there. My brother and I both discussed it and we do not understand what the problem was nothing was said during our stay or when we checked out on our last visit. We had enjoyed our last visit and that’s thereason we were returning. We will not return for any reason even if this were to be resolved. This was handled very poorly on your end. We should’ve been notified at the time we made a reservation and instead we didn’t find out until we callied to say we were running late, but would there within the hour. Unacceptable. We have a large number of friends and acquaintances that travel into Colorado Springs for various reasons several times a year we will not recommend your hotel and will advise them not to consider your hotel when they plan their visits.

The staff and room was fine. I usually use feather pillows. I was surprised by how comfortable the pillows were. I stayed on the 3rd floor. There was an unpleasant smell in the hallway.
