We stayed at Amari Hotel in Colombo for one night

We stayed at Amari Hotel in Colombo for one night upon landing in Sri Lanka, en route to Bentota. We chose this hotel because it is reasonably priced for an overnight stay and is newly built. It turned out to be a very decent and comfortable option. Although we didn’t get to make full use of the amenities due to the short duration of our stay, the hotel does offer some good facilities. Notably, it has a rooftop infinity pool with a small indoor and outdoor bar and restaurant where we spent a bit of time and enjoyed the atmosphere. The only downside was the check-in time of 3:00 PM, which is slightly later than the more common 2:00 PM check-in offered by many other establishments. That said, the hotel scores well on price, cleanliness, and location, and I would recommend it for short stays or stopovers in Colombo.
