Tired but comfortable

I booked this hotel due to it’s location to the train station and a music gig we were going to. It’s in a very busy part of town but makes everything easy to get to. Booked with some trepidation having read other reviews. It’s not the Ritz but the couple at the reception desk were very friendly and helped us with where we should head for lunch and transport for the gig that evening. The hallway outside our room smelled a little damp but the room was clean and serviceable. It’s not the Ritz but if you need somewhere to sleep in a great location in Köln (great shopping nearby!!) then this is great. Can also recommend the burger place downstairs

Zentral gelegen, sauber, gerne wieder

Das Hotel befindet sich sehr zentral in der Kölner Innenstadt / Altstadt. Für Leute die gerne abends raus möchten ist es optimal! Unser Zimmer war hinten raus und somit sehr ruhig, das einzige was störte ist das die Putzfrauen um 9 Uhr morgens anfingen Lärm zu machen, das hätte man wirklich leiser hinbekommen! Sonst gerne wieder

Dirty and drab: stay somewhere else

The hotel description and pictures on hotels.com looked quite inviting: quaint, cozy, and simple -- what I'd expect from a 3-star hotel in this price range. However, the hotel is nothing like that. The hallway lights are broken, making it hard to navigate at night. I found insects in my room and had to get bug spray. The curtains were falling down. The walls have a lot of big, dark stains. There were balls of dust and flakes of what I assumed were pain all over the floor. The chairs were torn up so badly, I didn't want to sit on them. There was a hole in the bathroom wall. Whoever took the photos that are on the hotel listing either has really good photography skills or knows how to use photoshop. To others looking for a hotel: Please, save yourself the hassle and book somewhere else. To the hotel owners/managers: I hope you are ashamed and embarrassed that this is the condition of the hotel you operate. Please clean the hotel and take care of the rooms -- would you sleep in your own hotel?

Отель удобно расположен, рядом есть крытая парковка. Стойка регистрации работает до 20ч, после вы самостоятельно приходите дергаете сильно входную дверь, входите и справа висит ящик. Набираете код и там вас ждёт дальнейшая инструкция и ключи от номера. А у т-ром уже вас регистрируют на ресепшене. Завтрак стандартный. Всем хорошего отдыха.

Sentralt, men preg av dårlig renhold

Sentral lokasjon til Ubahn, shopping og middag rett rundt hjørnet, men slitt og skittent på rommet og spesielt badet. Fant avklipte tånegler på gulvet og det luktet vondt på badet i perioder... selvom det var ikkerøyk så var det nok ingen som overholdt dette.

대로변에 있고 주말같은경우 근처 클럽들의 소음으로 인해 방해를 받으실 수 있습니다. 체크인 카운터가 늦게까지 운영하지 않아서 레이트 체크인 경우 붙어있는 연락처로 직접 연락하여 체크인 방법을 물어보셔야 합니다. 그 외에는 엘리베이터도 있고 역에서도 가까워 편하게 잘 지냈습니다.

Der service und das Personal an sich waren sehr langsam und man musste für alles sehr lange warten. Am letzten Abend ging undere Toilettenspülung kaputt, dies sei anscheinend schon einmal passiert. Die Lage ist top und nahe am Zentrum. Unringt von Einkaufsmöglichkeiten und kulinarischer Vielfalt.

Zum Feiern für 2 Tage OK

Zimmer waren klein aber vom Design OK, schickes Bad. Rezeption und Frühstücksbereich waren weniger schick. Insgesamt eher drei Sterne. Zimmer hinten raus waren sehr ruhig für die Lage direkt an der Feiermeile. Zum Feiern für 2 Tage OK, raus aus dem Hotel und man ist mittendrin. Als Familenhotel eher ungeeignet. Meine Rezeptionisten hatte kein Gespür für Service. Check In von den Kumpels bei anderem Kollegen war aber OK.

Lage unschlagbar, Service verbesserungswürdig

Größtes Manko: Man kann nicht sagen, dass alle Zimmer mit Balkon sind, wenn man sich gemeinsam mit allen Zimmern nur einen schmalen Feuertreppenzugang als "Balkon" teilt. Dadurch auch wenig Privatsphäre und ohne Angst kann man auch z.B. nicht lüften. Sauberkeit kann noch verbessert werden, außerdem gingen z.B. einzelne Lampen im Zimmer nicht. Frühstück sehr ernüchternd, außerdem werden verschiedene Zeiten kommuniziert, d.h. im besten Fall wird das Frühstück vor der Nase abgebaut. Lage des Hotels ist unschlagbar und de Ausstattung des Zimmers ist vollkommen ausreichend.
