Apart from the room size (too small for my expectations) and the mild A/C output (pretty similar to other Germany hotels) everything else worked as expected. Will recommend for budget conscious travellers.

Most hotels we've stayed in have small fridges. Having one here would have improved our stay.

A few shops about a 10 minute walk away and shopping street around a 20 minute walk away. Main city centre and attractions around a 25 minute walk but perfectly located for us. Room was clean and had everything we needed and staff were all friendly and helpful

Disliked: Cleanliness, staff & service, amenities, property conditions & facilities
This hotel is awful. Non-functioning air conditioning, mold in the showers, food on the floor from guests in room before us, uncomfortable beds, overall terrible experience. I travel often for work and stay in hotels multiple times each month. This hotel is by far the worst place I have ever stayed. Stay away and book a room with a reputable hotel.
