Its a 5 minute walk to the cathedral, dining restaurants, a 15 minute walking distance to the river. The breakfast was great for the price. It had many options to choose to eat for breakfast.

There's a staircase to be taken to the premier plus rooms, so if you have heavy suitcases be wary of this. Otherwise location and room wise it was excellent

As per their website, we wanted to store our luggage until check in time (after a long flight from Australia) we had a suitcase & carry on suitcase each, 2 of us. We were told that we could leave the main suitcases only & come back in 5 hours to complete check in. We were told that we could take the suitcases down to the railway terminal & store there in the meantime. The attendant was adamant these were instructions from management, I complained stating that their online policy stated no such thing, she would not comply. Eventually the "manager" came to us & advised they would make an exception for us, this time only. Very unpleasant welcome! The breakfast buffet (the usual variety every hotel offers) didn't offer fresh fruit on the 3rd morning, said they had no supplies & would be available next morning, come then. We stayed in a very nice unit which appeared to be a new addition to main building. Only downside, we needed to enter this area via an exposed narrow external walkway, climb 3 steps to the elevator, use this to get to our floor & then another 10 steep steps up to our floor, all while dragging our suitcases up & down the stairs. The elevator only stops at a level between the 2 floors &^ you are required to either climb up or down the steps to your floor. We are senior citizens & it was physically demanding. No assistance from hotel, do it yourself. What should have been a very pleasant stay was marred by the unpleasant attitude of all the staff.

While our check in experience was smooth and we appreciated being allowed to store our luggage prior to check in time (this was a MUST for us while booking a hotel), I was extremely disappointed by what happened the following day. We were informed that they couldn't store our luggage until my train departed due to capacity, and there was no prior warning about the limited storage capacity. If we had known this policy, I would have chosen a different hotel. What made the situation worse was the inconsistency and the lack of transparency from the staff. The older blonde lady was extremely RUDE. Initially, they agreed to take our backpacks, so we walked ten minutes to the train station to store our carry-ons. When we returned, the staff refused to accept the backpacks and claimed they never agreed to do so. This was not only frustrating but felt dishonest. If there simply wasn’t enough space for our bags when we returned, I would have understood. Why would we walk 10 mins to store our luggage to have to do it again if you didn't agree to accept our backpacks? A straightforward explanation would have gone a long way instead of lying. The staff’s attitude seemed dismissive and rude, which made it even harder to accept the situation. I hope you will reconsider how you advertise your luggage storage services and communicate your limitations clearly to guests.
