The hotel is located right next to Cologne station with a great view of the cathedral from the breakfast room. The breakfast was good value and the equal of many more expensive ones we had taken earlier in the trip as it had more options with regard to dairy and gluten free. All staff were very friendly.

6/10 Okay

Liked: Cleanliness, staff & service
The staff were helpful and friendly at reception. The room was okay, but during the heatwave, the lack of any air conditioning made the room far too hot. Even the plug-in fan that was provided was not enough to keep the temperature down in the room, so we struggled to sleep overnight. Location excellent for the adjacent railway station and being able to leave the bags with them during the day was helpful.

Room was clean. Got a few sheets with stains on them but there was no big deal to swap them out. Very nice desk staff. Extra close to the cathedral and hauptbanhof. Would stay again if back in köln. No fridge in the room and no ac, the fan worked very well however so no worries there, even in 90°f heat.
