i arrived jetlagged from USA. I was so tired and check in was at 3 and usually thats the way it is but from time to time i've been lucky and have gotten a room when I arrive in Europe in the am. What upsets me is that they had rooms but wanted to gouge me for 60 Euros instead which wasn't nice. So I was forced to walk around in the cold for 7 hours till they were ready. So unfair, I never stay there again !

I love this hotel. I actually booked it for 10 of my college students, but I also booked it for myself. I am staying for Carnival, the students sadly had to return today. The location is fabulous, the breakfast buffet is delicious with lots of variety, staff is incredibly helpful and kind, rooms are clean and comfortable. I have stayed here many times, and was her for almost two weeks this summer. Wouldn't stay anywhere else in Koeln. It is a short walk to the Dom and to all the sites in the Old Town.

Beautiful hotel, very friendly staff! We will definitely be back. Our room was pretty, it’s a quiet location but central to everything. Every time they refreshed our room they left us little candies on our pillows. It really felt welcoming and like home away from home during our stay. I was actually sad to leave.
