Great price for the location and quality. Perfect for a short stay. Since it’s beside the train station it might be noisy for some however for me it’s not a bother as it’s just white noise. Staff very friendly and would stay again due to its close proximity to the city centre.

Just what was needed and a great location.

Didn’t realise I had booked a hostel but the private room was very good for the time I was staying in the Cologne. The staff were excellent and kind and extremely helpful especially with sorting a fan out in the middle of the night due to the heat. Location just a 5 minute walk from Central Station is also a positive.

Great Stopover

We visited as a quick stopover enroute by train from Sweden to the UK. The hotel was easy to find and a short walk from Cologne station. We arrived just after 11.30pm and were greeted and provided our room. The room was basic, but clean, warm and functional. Only downside was no lift as we had some heavy bags, but on balance a great experience.

A&O galluswerte would go to this place and study.

If A&o galluswerte was hell i would say that this was supergood. If the receptionist at galluswerte was the worst , this receptionist was the best. Thank you for your professionalism

It’s not bad for a 1-night stay. Especially if you are in transit. But the reception area is very unwelcoming, cold, with vending machines lining one wall. The room itself was simply ‘okay’. Clean enough. Bed was comfortable. The shower was deadly slippery — so if you issues with mobility I would not recommend using the shower. Overall, for the price, I would have expected a more comfortable experience.

This staff, especially Mohammad, went beyond the call of duty. My rental car battery died in the garage because I left my hazards on. When I told him the problem. He first looked at the car with me to see if there was a back up battery. When I couldn’t get my call to go through to roadside services, he used his personal phone; when we found out they were closed for the day, he called the rental car company, met the truck with me and made sure it started. He helped us every step of the way. He was so kind. We met 3 of the front desk staff- and each one was friendly as well. This is also a great location. We walked to so many things.

Good, but woud be better in cooler weather

Nice receptio, friendly staff. The weather was very hot, no air conditioning so I had to have the windows open. This let in a lot of noise from the small park and playground opposite and the boy racers squealing their tires and revving their engines until the early hours. Hardly the hotel's fault though. Breakfast was very good, self service
