Although it served the purpose of having a place to stay, I feel like it should be called the Budget Inn. I was shocked a wedding was taking place with the smell of chlorine through the entire first floor. The pool noise was so loud on the first floor, I had read some reviews and requested a top floor thankfully. On the fourth floor it was very quiet and we felt undisturbed. The sheets were stained hopefully not dirty, the carpet needed to be vacuumed, shower pressure was horrible, and no food except overpriced snacks available after dinner. The local area extremely lacking in any nice restaurants. The staff, front desk staff, was relatively friendly although inconvenienced I felt when called after arrival at midnight regarding places to get something to eat. Didn’t get the complimentary breakfast as the lobby/eating area/pool area/bar area that seemed to be all one with an attempt at updated mileu by adding a stone wall and fireplace was so humid and smelled like chlorine was off putting. It seems this is the best place available in this area as the Comfort Inn next door looked archaic. Did not try the attached restaurant although seemed popular. No room service. The floors/hallways were also very uneven with difficulty walking in heels, possibly as if flooded but being on the fourth floor likely just poor construction or carpeting laid? Won’t stay again for sure will drive to next city.
