Don’t do it!!

I booked this hotel on Hotels.com, and the reviews there were clearly misleading. We arrived at 2:20 PM after a long drive with our 3-month-old baby, only to be met with the rudest front desk attendant I’ve ever encountered. Bianca looked me up and down, said “Yeah?” instead of greeting me, and told me there wasn’t a single clean room in the entire hotel. She insisted we come back “exactly at 3,” like every room would magically be cleaned in 40 minutes. Bianca’s beat up black car with no hubcaps was also parked out front preventing anyone from pulling up making this place look even more unprofessional. The room was damp, cramped, and had one pillow per bed. Our baby, who’d been fine, was congested all night—mold wouldn’t surprise me. Breakfast was a joke: watery eggs, no sausage or bacon, empty pancake machine. Bianca was running that too, unsurprisingly. This hotel is a disgrace to the Hilton name. Rude staff, gross rooms, and terrible service. We’ll NEVER stay here again.

Looks Cute and Modern, but It's All Appearance

We switched bookings to Tru specifically because laundry facilities were listed. They do not have laundry facilities available for guest use. We secondarily chose it for the refrigerator in the room. Our refrigerator was not working and we were told there wasn't a replacement. It also began to leak and we slipped on the water in the night. In the lobby, hot water in the insulated carafe was not hot in the afternoon. We were told to use the microwave, which was dirty. There was no regular sugar available for the coffee at any time during our stay, only several types of artificial sweeteners. Sadly the food options for a vegan were more limited than at most hotel breakfasts. We will not be staying here again.

Unique, hardly was actually worse than any motel 6 I've ever been in. The AC was so loud when the compressor came on that it awoke me and my wife each time. Tried to complain to the front desk about the AC only to have no one answer the phone and no one at the front desk @ 1am! The general state of the hotel was filthy! Not just dirty but filthy! The first tip off should have been the front doors, so dirty you could not see through them. I thought it was due to remodeling but boy was I wrong. The expedia reviews were way off, the pictures on expedia were from when it was NEW, it's far from new.

Bed Bugs, smokey smells, elevator buttons??

Smokey smells in non-smoking room. Elevator button has to be pushed multiple times to finally engage or you will wait forever. One ice machine for all the customers. Breakfast is horrible unless you only eat pancakes and cereal. Front desk girls were amazing and tried to help with all the hotel problems. BED BUGS, my kid was ate up with bed bugs and I reported the issue to the staff. They moved us for the last night but I was not contacted by email or called by GM to discuss refund or compensation for all the trauma. Sanitization of all our clothes(5 kids and 2 adults), fear of staying in hotels in the future, inability to sleep because you think that bugs are on your body.

Nice hotel/ zero issues!

We stayed one night; we were in town for a swim meet. Staff was very friendly (Kennedy). We had no issues and our room was clean. Lobby is cute; love the colors and the games for kids.

We booked here for NSC at Texas A and M. The property looks rather new however it just looked and felt dirty. The floors in the room did not appear to be mopped but the linens and bathrooms appeared clean. The property was quiet. Common areas and elevators were also dirty. The property staff were indifferent.

Never Again

Upon arrival I had a hard time finding my reservation because they had my last name first and first name last so the lady gave me my card back and said she couldn’t find me. The hotel itself smelled very old and mildew. Made it to my room same smell, that’s not the topper. After wiping down the restroom I head to the bed to check it hair was everywhere chocolate was on the floor hair under the cover and A EARRING. Very nasty smell room and situation. We stayed in my son’s room so we paid for nothing. I doubt if they give us our money back!
