The staff were very friendly and helpful throughout my stay. However, the hotel’s booking system was very poor. It took over 30 minutes to confirm my reservation because they were unable to locate my booking on their system, which made the check-in process unnecessarily frustrating.

Absolutely wonderful stay. The staff were exceptional. We arrived very early on the motorbike and they found us somewhere to leave our bike gear for the day. The changing rooms were very lovely. The staff directed us to local taxi firms, avoiding us that the walk to our destination was unsafe. We didn't have much luck booking for our way out to puzzlewood but a member of staff offered to take us on their way through. Definitely recommend sorting taxis ahead of time. Had dinner in the restaurant and it was exceptional, the quality of the steaks were very good. Service again was amazing and we sat on the terrace watching game of bowls. What a relaxing stay and would definitely stay again. Can't recommend enough.

Fresh breakfast, excellent staff! Good location on the edge of the town and lots of places to cycle to, including Puzzlewood which was the main reason for our stay. But there was a mechanical banging noise (like a shoe in a tumble dryer!) from 3.30am both nights we stayed that kept me awake. The whole experience was very 'meh' and we wouldn't recommend unless you are playing golf there.
