Dew is one of four mirror cabins at Luminary Resorts @ Hilltop—an Asian Zen–inspired retreat that feels like stepping into a quieter version of yourself. Designed by a gifted hospitality designer, Dew leans soft and serene: clean lines, warm textures, and a gentle stillness that invites you to slow down without trying. ★Location & The VIEW★
Our hilltop setting is a rare find in flat East Texas—an elevated pocket of wilderness where the horizon finally opens up. From inside the cabin or out on the deck, your gaze can travel for miles over treetops that sit at (and often below) eye level, spilling into a river valley and rolling forest beyond. Watch the sky: eagles glide and circle on the thermals, making this a quiet little paradise for birdwatching. And when you’re ready to trade stillness for play, Lake Livingston’s boat launch is just 3 minutes away—perfect for boating, fishing, and easy water days.

★Inside★
Step into Dew and the mood shifts—lighter, airier, and softly calming. At 365 sq ft, the space is intentionally uncluttered—Asian Zen restraint fused with modern comfort—so you can feel the quiet instead of just noticing it. Warm wood, stone textures, and a clean, thoughtful palette (curated by a talented local designer) create a space that feels refreshed and restorative, like a small sanctuary made for deep exhale.

Walls of glass bring the outdoors right up to the edge of your day. From the bed, the lounge chairs, even while you rinse fruit or froth your coffee, the view is always there—treetops, sky, and that steady river valley in the distance. When you want privacy, automated blinds glide down with a touch, and the cabin turns inward—soft, cozy, and calm without breaking the atmosphere.

The kitchenette is small but beautifully considered—curated dishware and glassware, a sleek induction cooktop, and a Nespresso machine with frother for slow, quiet mornings. The bathroom feels spa-simple and private: a deep soaking tub, a rain shower with a view, a modern smart toilet, and plush Luminary towels—so even your routine becomes a gentle ritual.

Evenings in Dew are meant to be easy. Sink into a truly luxurious king-size mattress and let your body finally rest. Put on a playlist through the Marshall speaker, pour a glass of wine, and let the cabin soften into night. Then cue a film on the Yaber projector—an unhurried movie night, wrapped in quiet, where conversation can pause and still feel close.

★Yard & The Deck★
Arriving at Dew feels like entering a bamboo courtyard. Tall bamboo and layered privacy fences are arranged with intention, separating the yard into small sections so the space reveals itself gradually as you walk through—an Asian courtyard philosophy that makes everything feel private and calm. If you arrive in an EV, you can plug in right away with the Tesla charger (J1772 adapter provided) and settle in without thinking about logistics.

Pass the layers of bamboo and the deck opens wide—clean, airy, and hovering above treetops with an unbroken view of the river valley. In the center sits the 18’ x 9’ pool (4.5’ deep), inviting you to cool off, float, and let time loosen. The view is expansive but steady—wilderness, sky, and the feeling of being up high with nothing pressing in.

One side of the deck is set up for simple meals: the grill faces the view, so you can cook while looking out over the valley and treetops. Across the pool, two lounge chairs invite slow afternoons and quiet evenings. On warm days, the triangle sail shade gives you a little cover from the sun—perfect for stretching out, watching the light move through the trees, and enjoying the calm with the person you came with.

And then there’s sunset. Dew gets especially beautiful when the sky starts to change—gold on the deck, soft color reflected in the cabin glass, and clouds that shift into something new each evening. As night settles, the string lights come on like a gentle cue to stay outside a little longer—one more dip, one more breath, one more moment before you go in.

Other things to note
★Parking★
There are plenty of parking spaces. 2 -3 cars can comfortably on the dedicated parking spot and on the driveway.

★Trailer / Boat Parking★
You can park a trailer by either side of Snowhill Rd. There is plenty of space for trailer parking.

★EV Charger★
We have Level 2 EV charger in the parking area. It is a Tesla charger with J1772 adapter.

★Pets★
We do allow pets during your stay with us. There is a $50 flat one-time fee (not per pet). The fee is issued to our cleaners to apply additional procedure for the next guests. You must notify us at least 1 day before arrival and pay the pet fee prior to getting the lockbox code.
