Really interesting building if you're into history but they need to re-open the restaurant for lunch and evening meals and the bar needs extended hours for residents. The breakfast was well cooked and of a decent size. The room was adequately clean and of a good size. It's easy to find and good amount of parking.

Lovely old property, does show some signs of wear and tear which is understandable. Good car parking facilities. There was no food available when we stayed,(except breakfast which was good) but there are many good restaurants in the area. A pleasant stay.

The room was very small as was the bed. We booked for two nights but checked out after just the one night, due to the noisy racket from the room next door which went on until gone 03.00. Youngsters in their late teens or early 20's with no respect at all for others. We were unable to get a room change, and the hotel wasn't likely going to turf them out on their ears. So we took a refund and booked into a Holiday Inn a couple of miles away, which was absolutely excellent.
