Good location and the room was comfortable and clean. Quiet - apart from Road Trains on the A1! The restaurant is not open, seeming to serve as a playroom for the owners's young children. Food is available in the bar but it is not a welcoming or hospitable place and it stank of the residue of tobacco - very unpleasant. It had pool tables and TVs for sports. Just as well there were lots of good places to eat nearby.

Comfortable enough stay for one night - but the place definitely needs work. Bed & pillows could do with a change over to something more comfortable as could feel most of the springs in the mattress. Shower was tolerable given hot water coming through intermittently and alternating between scolding hot and lukewarm. With a bit of TLC, this place could be a lot better. Great location, convenient, but very dated and in need of a refresh.
