The Ponderosa House is tucked away in a peaceful lakeside community along Lake Coeur d’Alene, just south of town. Here, you’ll enjoy the best of both worlds — a private, wooded retreat with lake access and easy driving distance to downtown Coeur d’Alene.

Take a short stroll down the road to the community beach, where you can dip your toes in the water or launch a kayak. While the adjacent marina is private, there is a public boat launch nearby, making it simple to get out on the lake for a day of adventure.

When you’re ready to explore, downtown Coeur d’Alene is about a 15–20 minute drive, where you’ll find a lively mix of restaurants, shops, and lakefront attractions. In the opposite direction, outdoor enthusiasts will love the hiking trails and scenic drives that wind through North Idaho’s forested hills. Whether you’re here for boating, hiking, or simply soaking up the sunset views, this quiet pocket of CDA is a perfect home base for families and groups looking to balance relaxation with recreation.

Door Access: Keyless entry: The home is accessed by a front door digital keypad. On the day of arrival, once the home is ready, guests will be sent the door code to access the home.

1st Floor (Downstairs)

Guestroom 1:
This room features a King bed and a closet.

Guestroom 2:
A spacious room featuring a king-size bed, storage to hang and unpack your clothes, and a cozy chair.

Full Bathroom:
This downstairs bathroom is separated into two rooms: one with a sink and toilet, and the other with another sink and large walk-in shower. The bathroom is shared by Guestrooms 1, 2, and 3, and serves as the downstairs common bathroom.

Laundry Room:
Located central to the bedrooms, kitchen, and living area, this laundry room has a washing machine, dryer, and all the supplies you need for easy cleaning during your stay at our cozy Coeur d'Alene vacation rental.

Guestroom 3:
This room has two twin beds and a spacious closet, offering plenty of storage.

Living Area:
A big, comfy space perfect for a vacation rental. Gather around the gas fireplace or binge-watch shows on the smart TV. The sliding glass doors bring the outside in, giving you a breath of fresh air after exploring Lake Coeur d'Alene and North Idaho.

Dining Area:
A round table for 4 in the dining area, plus additional seating for 6 at the kitchen island. The open floorplan layout connects the dining, living, and kitchen areas, creating a bright and welcoming atmosphere.

Kitchen:
A beautiful kitchen with a big island, seating for 4, and 2 barstools. It’s equipped with a large fridge, gas oven, dishwasher, coffee maker, and microwave, making it easy to whip up your favorite meals during your stay.

2nd Floor (Upstairs)

Guestroom 4 (Master Bedroom):
A spacious master bedroom, with a king-size bed, sitting area and a additional room with a twin bed and dresser. Relax on the leather sofa and chairs, and stay organized with the walk-in closet. Enjoy movies on the smart TV. and pamper yourself in the en-suite bathroom with double sinks, a walk-in shower, tub, and private toilet. Outdoors:
The outdoor space is a perfect retreat for relaxation and fun. Kick back with a book on the cozy outdoor chairs or head to the lower deck and enjoy meals at the outdoor dining table and grill up tasty treats on the BBQ. With over an acre of space, there’s plenty of room for kids to play and adults to unwind, creating the ideal setting for a memorable and laid-back Coeur d'Alene vacation stay.

Lake Access: The home is located in a community with a community beach. The beach is located below the home on the water. Please see photos in listing for a reference. This home DOES NOT have access to docks or boat slips as the marina next door is a private marina. There is however a boat launch area so if you plan to bring a boat, you can load it there but must pull it out of the eater after use as there are NOT docks available for guest overnight and daily use.

- Quiet Time: This home is located in a quiet neighborhood, so we do not allow parties of any kind. Please respect quiet hours between 9:00am-8:00am.
