Very nice place but for us our room was on the 3rd floor and so warm we could not stay the night. The place was charming, clean, and not a bad walk to the main part of CDA but we need air conditioning in our room in order to be able to sleep and had to go home.

Amenities were above average as many items available for breakfast/snacks...only somewhat downside is construction next door if not early riser and parking on street.

We never saw any staff, only through texts, a very nice location and beautiful property, and liked the kitchen with a lot of things. We didn't eat their cooked breakfast, but were happy to have bagels and cream cheese for the road.

The Blackwell is currently a hotel and event center. I was told the house was constructed in 1905 and for several years operated as a B&B, which is pretty close to what we experienced for our one night stay! Great breakfast and amenities! Our bedroom was small but very comfortable. I took lots of pictures because it was so beautifully restored!
