We loved that it was cozy and clean! Close enough to Yellowstone. I wish we would have known before booking that the only food option was to drive the 20 miles (each way) to Cody. The website says there is a restaurant on site. When we finally saw the owner (only staff we had interaction with) on the morning of checkout, she said the restaurant didn't open until Thursday. We were there on Tuesday. If you like a "no contact" stay this is the place for you!
Arrived around 8pm and Beth met me at the door! Extremely friendly and made sure we got a hot meal before the kitchen closed. Room was very cute and comfortable. Didnt realize it had tile floors thoughout the room, my dog is pretty old and struggles on them. Overall though, wonderful stay. Highly recommend.
Nice lodge about 60 mins from East Gate Yellowston
Very cool old lodge re-worked into bigger rooms. We had the large room for families. If we had been with our family, this would be GREAT. Slept 8 in total.
They were shorthanded, so not super available, but all our needs were met, questions answered. We’d stay again.
Great location about 30 miles from Yellowstone entrance. Host was very friendly.

Overall, loved it. I wish the air conditioning was better. It was not cool during the day.

This was a cute place to stay for a night, not much around so definitely just a sleep and go, would drive the next 20 min to Cody for more choices. But a good bed and fairly decent bar food right there.
Friendly owner with spacious rooms. Quiet and serene with outdoor areas and a restaurant. If you are in the area this is one of your best bets! We are already talking about a return trip.
Lovely place! It was easy drive to Yellowstone and the Wapiti area is stunning. I would definitely stay there again. The owners were so nice. Best vacation ever!

This lodge was a breath of fresh air not far outside of Yellowstone. Everyone i interacted with was friendly and helpful. The full restaurant was fantastic, the suites were clean and comfortable with everything you could need.
Our room was very rustic and nice. The tv didn’t really have any good channels. I liked that our room had a full kitchen with refrigerator and microwave. The hotel is just a couple of miles from the more populated part of Wapiti Valley.
Quiet, very clean, owner was present and very pleasant! Beautiful views and a wonderful spot to visit yellow stone from. Just far wnough away from the business with yound kids.
Large room with kitchen and bathroom. Understand it's older but seemed to be underlying level of not clean, particularly floors and bathroom. Also, when wet outside from rain, you can't help but track a ton of dirt, leaves and tree needles in because no mat inside the door. Small thing that would help. Onsite restaurant very good, so giving extra star for that.
Cute and quaint property with a few rooms in the main building and several small cottages. We stayed in a small one room cottage with an en site bathroom with me, my spouse, and 2 teenage sons. The property is beautiful, backs up to the river and is supremely scenic. The rooms themselves are a little dated and be aware there's no air conditioning. This isn't an issue most of the time but might be one you hit upper 70s.
It's super close to the road but also only about 20 minutes from the east yellowstone entrance gate.
Dining on site was great with friendly service and very accommodating of our despite to pull up a table and play cribbage.
Overall a great experience, just unattainable unseasonably warm so the night was a little toasty.
The most comfy beds on our whole road trip! I could have stayed in them for days! The room was spotless and super roomy. Almost like a mini apartment. The room was surprisingly quiet even though it sits right on the highway.
I loved how quiet and cozy it was. Its an hour away or so from the entrance to Yellowstone. Its about 2 hours or so into Old Faithful. Its a great place to stay!
