The score on Hotels.com led me to think this would be upper-tier. It was not. On the upside -- the room and bathroom were large, the beds comfortable, and the pillows soft. On the downside --the carpet in the room looked to be about 30 years old. The nice young lady who checked me into the hotel looked like she might be a female escort -- pretty but if I was her dad, I would have told her to come back to work properly dressed. Would not stay there again.

Perfect place to stay

Loved this hotel. The young lady who checked us in couldn't have been sweeter. She switched us to a private cabin because I injured my foot and couldn't carry all of my luggage upstairs. There were beautiful horses directly behind our cabin and it was very peaceful and quiet. Comfy room and it had a little porch with wooden chairs out front. Bubba's BBQ was a mile down the road and it was delicious and not expensive. Highly recommend this hotel.

The staff was wonderful and rooms were very clean. The property is dated but don't let that stop you. Check in is early (1 p.m.) and during the week they offer carriage rides in the evenings. They also have live music on the weekends.

We stayed there for six nights starting September 6, 2025. We based out of this motel for motorcycle rides in Yellowstone and the Big Horns. We liked that we could park our enclosed trailer next to a grassy area. There were two picnic tables in this area. This gave us a great place to grill our supper and to relax after a day of riding. We enjoyed that they had two ice machines and you could fill your coolers for free. The gentleman (Juan) that cleaned our room daily did an amazing job.
