Fish from the river deck or watch missles go up from Cape Canaveral situated right across the river. Enjoy the short stroll or bike along the river road to historic Cocoa Village. In the village enjoy boutiques, restaurants, outdoor jazz, and special events. Only 8 miles or about 15 minutes from world famous Cocoa Beach, Canaveral Pier & Ron Jon Surf shop. 45 minutes along the Beach Line HWY 528 to Orlando tourist attractions yet away from the crowds and traffic. Spend a day farther north in historic St Augustine or Daytona Beach. My family and I enjoyed staying at this beautiful old home with so much history and charm. We loved the porches and especially the dock in the evenings where we saw a dolphin, a manatee and stingrays.

We love old houses and Strong Haven is a nice place. Right on the Indian River it was a quiet, nice neighborhood. Just enough modern to be comfortable, and enough originality to be a fun stay. The front porch at sunrise is especially nice.

Perfect location for everything

My whole family enjoyed this property! My son loved that we were just across the road from the river, and he spent quite a bit of his free time fishing. My daughter loved that she was able to have her own bedroom space and bathroom (huge plus for a preteen girl!). We loved the location as we were just a short walk or drive from anywhere se needed to go. Vivian was available for anything we needed for the duration of our stay. Highly recommend!

July 4th Trip

Our family thoroughly enjoyed our stay at this beautiful Home. Everything was nearby restaurant's, activities, and shopping. We enjoyed fishing off the dock and from our boat that we docked at the dock in front of the house. Such a wonderful trip we made lots of memories and plan to visit again in the future. We were so pleased with our stay at Strong Haven. The house is beautiful and well kept with charming historic touches. Loved spending evenings on the porch overlooking the river. The dock was great and we were able to get some fantastic up close pictures of the dolphins playing in the water. Can't wait to stay again!
