10/10 DO NOT RECOMMEND!!! Manager Alexis wanted to refund our stay but had issues due to booking 3rd party. The bathroom floor was flooded..the main living floor was sticky and had not been cleaned-. Roaches crawling by head board and on curtains. Bathroom door was falling apart from both sides could not shut or open door without yanking it- we had no trash can. Unable to shower due to flooding beds were uncomfortable and pillows flat as a pancake. She told us we should not have been put in that room as some one was previously living in it and was to be remolded/fixed. She said she would refund us!! Please communicate directly with motel 6 manager to resolve this issue or CALL ME!!!

From inside the room, I could see the outside light through the door frame. The bathroom towel bar was coming off the wall on one side. The telephone was not plugged in. The Expedia pictures must have be taken 20 years ago when the place opened. There was a barking dog in the room next to use that woke me up at 6am. Couple of positives, the front desk staff were great! They were friendly, kind and offered to keep our luggage safe while we waited to check in. Very close to the beach, just one block away.

This place is definitely run down and needs a serious refresh. and.. also some pest control. Our first room came with a complimentary nature documentary: there was a spider web with a live spider actively eating a cockroach. We are avid campers, seen a lot of this... only except not in our bedroom. It was okay staying a night watching National Geographic, but then we found out the shower didn't work. We had to pack up and switch rooms. The second room had a working shower, but zero hangers for our clothes. The atmosphere is a bit busy here. There are clearly permanent residents living here. The lady in the room next to us was wailing super loud about something for a good 30 minutes at 10 PM. It was certainly an... interesting place.

Front desk very friendly- Mandy is such a professional. Our room was clean, excellent price for location. Went to watch a rocket launch, location was a 5 minute drive to the pier. Great stay.
